National Coding & Game Hackathon 2026: Celebrating Creativity, Learning and Innovation
What an incredible journey it has been at the National Coding & Game Hackathon 2026!
This year, we were excited to see students come together with creativity, curiosity and plenty of determination to design, build and share their own games and coding projects. From the first idea to the final creation, every project reflected the students’ willingness to learn, experiment, solve problems and keep improving along the way.
Two Categories, Many Creative Ideas
This year, we introduced two categories to give students different ways to showcase their coding and creative skills.
Game Category: Students used platforms such as MakeCode Arcade and Scratch to bring their game ideas to life. We saw many imaginative concepts, engaging gameplay ideas and unique creations.
Coding Category: Students explored app and coding development using platforms such as Thunkable and Delightex. Their projects demonstrated how coding can be used to turn ideas into interactive and meaningful digital experiences.

Learning Is Part of the Journey
Beyond the finished games and projects, the hackathon was about the learning journey.
Students had opportunities to brainstorm ideas, try new things, troubleshoot problems, learn from mistakes and discover that creating something from scratch takes patience and persistence.
Every challenge was another opportunity to learn.
We are incredibly proud of the students for stepping outside their comfort zones and turning their ideas into something they could share with others.
