Celebrating Innovation: National Micro bit Hackathon 2026
Coders Passion recently hosted the National Micro bit Hackathon, bringing together some of the brightest young minds to innovate, design, and code for a better future.
The energy, creativity, and technical skill on display throughout the event were nothing short of inspiring.
A Heartfelt Thank You
An event of this scale would not be possible without the incredible community supporting it. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to:
Our Dedicated Teachers: Thank you for guiding, mentoring, and inspiring your students every step of the way. Your commitment to fostering a love for technology is shaping the innovators of tomorrow.
Our Brilliant Students: Thank you for your hard work, late-night coding sessions, and infectious enthusiasm. You brought your absolute best to this competition, and you should be incredibly proud of what you built.
Growth Beyond the Code
While the projects themselves were spectacular, the true success of the hackathon lay in the growth of our participants. Beyond learning how to program Micro bit hardware, students demonstrated school values such as resilience, respect, teamwork, etc and walked away with critical life skills, including:
Teamwork & Collaboration: Learning how to brainstorm, divide tasks, and trust teammates under a deadline.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting bugs, pivoting when ideas didn't work, and finding creative workarounds.
Creativity: Thinking outside the box to design unique, original solutions to real-world problems.
